Brainerd International Raceway offers a wide range of private track rental opportunities across our multi-discipline motorsports facility. Rentals may include individual track configurations or custom combinations, from drag racing, drifting, and road course use to multi-activity events operating simultaneously. Whether you are a national sanctioning body, a large event promoter, a regional car club, a corporate partner, or a private individual looking to host a focused midweek or Sunday program, our team works with you to build the right setup for your goals.

Road Course: 2.5mi Compeittion Course
Our championship-style Competition Road Course features 13 turns and a 300-degree cloverleaf that connects sections of BIR’s historic Donnybrooke layout with newer infield asphalt. With minimal elevation change and a mix of technical and flowing corners, the course is ideal for both novice groups and experienced drivers looking for a balanced and challenging experience.
Road Course: 3.1mi Donnybrooke Course
Opened in 1968, the Donnybrooke Road Course is a fast and flowing 10-turn layout that includes the legendary Turn 1—a banked, right-hand corner recognized as one of the fastest in North America. This original course layout has hosted professional series, club events, and testing programs for decades and continues to be a favorite for high-speed track days.
Dragstrip: NHRA Sanctioned Drag Strip
BIR’s quarter-mile drag strip is nationally recognized and NHRA-sanctioned, dating back to 1969. It has seen multiple record-setting runs, including the current top speed of 338.26 mph. The drag strip is available for private rentals, test-and-tune sessions, and full-scale competition events.
Skid Pad / Professional Driving Pad
This large, flat asphalt area is a versatile space used for autocross, car control clinics, advanced driver training, and drifting. With over 20 days of use each season for grassroots drifting and specialty programs, the Skid Pad is a flexible surface that supports a wide range of driving activities in a controlled environment.
Dirt Track
Our on-site mud pit offers rugged terrain ideal for off-road clubs, UTV/ATV groups, or events looking to incorporate an element of extreme driving. It is available by request as part of facility rentals.
