Two Heads Up Bike Classes Added to BikeFest Drag Race Program!!!

Join us on the dragstrip July 28th-30th for motorcycle & snowmobile racing action. As part of BIR’s BikeFest with MotoAmerica superbike racing on the road course, drag racing motorcycles and snowmobiles will battle it out on the dragstrip for cash and bragging rights at the first annual BIR BikeFest 1/8th Mile Bracket Bash. The weekend of only bikes & sleds on the dragstrip will start with a test & tune session on Friday afternoon and include a jackpot race for those who wish to enter. Saturday’s action will start mid-afternoon with $2000.00 to win bracket race. Along with the bracket race on Saturday BIR will feature a Pro Mod Snowmobile Shootout. See some of the fastest snowmobiles on asphalt race for a $1000.00 purse and look to secure a spot to be part of The Pro Mod Snowmobile exhibition race held during The Lucas Oil Nationals Aug 17th-20th 2023. For those of you who are “Heads Up” racers we have added two classes for you to Saturday’s race event. C.A. Performance The “Run What You Brung” Heads Up Outlaw class presented by B.A Metalworx will be racing for a $2000.00 purse and the Ward Performance True Hand Clutch Street class will be racing for their share of a $1000.00 purse.

 

On Sunday morning the dragstrip action will stay hot with a second $2000.00 to win 1/8th mile bracket race with support from Simply Ride and Voss Enterprises. On Sunday the Pro Mod Sleds will be back on track to test and run “Grudge Races”. Sunday will also see the Heads-Up bikes on track for some Grudge & Call Out action on the 1/8th mile for bragging rights.

For those who may have never been down the drag strip or those who want to make a run to see your 1/8th mile time and speed you will be able to purchase a tech card for $40.00 and make 2 passes down the dragstrip utilizing the Christmas tree and receiving a timeslip to prove to your friends you did indeed race at BIR. (See race information for safety requirements to participate)
