Sunday Funday Snowmobile Racing coming to Brainerd International Raceway in 2026

BRAINERD, Minn. — X Racing will bring its Sunday Funday Snowmobile Racing Series to Brainerd International Raceway (BIR) in 2026, adding a winter racing program focused on accessibility, community, and fun at one of Minnesota’s most iconic motorsports venues.
Sunday Funday Racing is built around grassroots snowmobile competition and is designed to make it easy for riders to get started. The series is open to all snowmobile types, allowing participants to race what they already own in a safe, welcoming environment.
2026 Event Dates at Brainerd International Raceway
· Friday and Saturday, Feb. 6–7, 2026
· Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 28–March 1, 2026
With race classes available for riders ages 4 through 70 and older, Sunday Funday Racing reflects how many families experience motorsports together. Parents, kids, and grandparents can all participate — whether racing, supporting young riders, or spending the weekend at the track. Off the track, spectators can enjoy a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere with food, beverages, and on-site entertainment.
While the atmosphere is intentionally approachable, the program also allows riders to grow their skills and expand their competitive experience over time.
Brainerd International Raceway views Sunday Funday as a well-aligned partner that shares its passion for grassroots motorsports and creating inviting experiences for families and first-time competitors.
Spectator Admission
$15 per day or $25 for a two-day pass. Tickets are available at the gate.
